There are many people teaching Reiki classes now. Some are highly qualified and may be just the right teacher for you and others may not have the right energy for your needs. So, the question is often asked about how to choose a Reiki teacher that is right for you. Here is a list of questions to ask any Reiki master who you are thinking about taking a class from.

A few years ago a close friend of mine had a rather large Rottweiler called Rocky. One evening at around 9.30 I received a desperate call from my friend to say Rocky was dying! She had had him to the vet and he had cancer of the lymph glands and didn't have long to live. Cutting a long story short, I dashed down to her home and sure enough, poor Rocky was lying on the floor in the passage and couldn't get up. I asked her permission to do Reiki on him and she immediately said "Yes, anything you think could help him".

The Miracles of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ lies at the heart of any Christian religion and his teachings, the miracles he performed and ultimately, his death on the cross, form some of the most important aspects of worship in the Christian faith today.

Of all the miracles he carried out, the healings that took place were of most memorable and significant – and are often noted in the Christian celebration of the life of Jesus. He healed people of paralysis, fever, haemorrhage, skin disease, deafness and blindness, amongst other ailments. “When the sun was setting, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness and laying his hand on each one, he healed them” (Luke 4:40).In this passage, hands-on-healing is described as the method Jesus used to heal the sick, similar to Reiki.

Many of you may have heard me say: ‘Thoughts become things’ (Something Mike Dooley always says at the end of his TUT messages). But really, thoughts DO become things.

How many times have you manifested your worst nightmare? Why did that happen? Where did you go wrong? When you look back at it, you may find that you’ve been worrying about something bad happening over a period of time (sometimes even five minutes is enough time to manifest something you don’t want).

Responsibility for the Self

In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect, whole and complete and yet, life is ever changing. There is no beginning and no end, only a constant cycling and recycling of substance and experiences. Life is never stuck or static or stale, for each moment is new and fresh. I am one with the very Power that created me, and this Power has given me the power to create my own circumstances. I rejoice in the knowledge that I have the power of my own mind to use in any way I choose. Every moment of life is a new beginning point as we move from the old.
This moment is a new point of beginning for me right here and right now.
